Create reliability block diagrams/models that reflect the functions, failure modes, and characteristics of the system/unit being analyzed.
Work with engineering team to develop technical solutions to potential reliability and availability problems.

Continued employment thereafter will be subject to maintenance of the level of clearance and program access required for the position in the future.*
U.S. Citizenship is required for all positions with a government clearance and certain other restricted positions.

for Reliability Systems Engineer -
Bachelor's degree in a STEM (Science, Technology, Engineering, Math) discipline and 8+ years of engineering experience OR
Master's degree in a STEM (Science, Technology, Engineering, Math) discipline and 6+ years of engineering experience OR
PhD in a STEM (Science, Technology, Engineering, Math) discipline and 4+ years of engineering experience
Familiarity with modeling/simulation software tools used for Reliability analysis
Experienced in performing and documenting a Unit or System level Failure Mode and Effects Analysis (FMEA) based on standard commercial best-practices,
Experienced in performing and documenting piece-part / component failure rate estimation using best available data (e.g, handbook method(s), life test based, etc.)
Candidate must have active SCI access at time of application with a Single Scope Background Investigation (SSBI) completed within the last 5 years and prior to start date OR

Utilize standard commercial best practices and industry tools to cost-effectively conduct reliability analyses and assessments.

$142,200.00 - $213,400.00
Depending on the position, employees may be eligible for overtime, shift differential, and a discretionary bonus in addition to base pay.
Annual bonuses are designed to reward individual contributions as well as allow employees to share in company results.
The above salary range represents a general guideline; however, Northrop Grumman considers a number of factors when determining base salary offers such as the scope and responsibilities of the position and the candidate's experience, education, skills and current market conditions.
