Responsibilities

  • Partner Outreach & Coordination
  • Identify and lead outreach to third-party interface partners to support migration activities off the mainframe platform.
  • Initiate contact, schedule discussions, confirm availability for testing, and maintain ongoing communication throughout the transition.
  • Develop and maintain a complete inventory of all interfaces, file transfers, and stakeholders impacted by the migration.
  • Align technical planning with partner requirements, ensuring file formats, triggers, and batch execution windows meet operational expectations.
  • Manage the migration schedule, adapting plans based on vendor responsiveness and internal resource constraints.
  • Drive timely execution across multiple teams.
  • Oversee testing cycles based on partner capabilities, ensuring successful authentication, file delivery, and processing.

Requirements

  • 10+ years of relevant IT experience with specialization in middleware platforms (e.g., Axway or equivalent).
  • Excellent documentation skills and the ability to track complex migration tasks end to end.
  • Documents like the ICD are used as the tracking mechanism for all SFTP and web service interfaces, so the BA must know what details must be captured and validated.
