About the role
- THIS IS A NATIONAL GUARD TITLE 32 EXCEPTED SERVICE POSITION.

- AREA 2: All Drill Status/M-Day members and temporary technicians of the Nebraska Air or Army National Guard.
Requirements
- Required forms: SF86, PSIP Initiation Form, Fingerprints, OF306 and Application/Resume.
- Experience which demonstrates the ability to understand and apply instructions, and specifications
- Experience using hand and power tools common to an optical shop.
- SPECIALIZED EXPERIENCE: WG-10: 18 months experience or training repairing, rebuilding, overhauling systems and components of optical instrument equipment.
- Experience in diagnosing malfunction in determining remedy where complex relationships exist among optical systems and supporting mechanical and electrical systems.
- Experience in the use of a variety of measuring and testing equipment.
- Experience interpreting technical manuals, blueprints, schematics and work orders.
- Selectee will be required to wear the military uniform daily.
- Applicants who are not currently a member of the National Guard must be eligible for immediate membership and employment in the National Guard in the military grade listed in this announcement.
