Responsibilities
- Develop and manage construction models to support coordination, constructability review, and project planning
- Lead and facilitate trade coordination meetings using model-based workflows
- Perform clash detection and track resolution of coordination issues across disciplines
- Support preconstruction planning, scope clarification, and operations strategy through modeling tools
- Provide VDC support to project teams throughout the project lifecycle
- Maintain and organize project coordination models and documentation

- As a VDC Engineer, you'll support Absher's project teams by applying Virtual Design & Construction practices to improve planning, coordination, and project delivery.
- You'll work closely with project managers, superintendents, engineers, and trade partners to develop and manage construction models, facilitate trade coordination, and help resolve issues before they impact the field.
- This role plays an important part in bridging design intent and field execution by using model-based workflows to support coordination, sequencing, and constructability across projects.
Requirements
- Degree in Architecture, Engineering, Construction Management, or related field (or equivalent experience)
- Experience using Autodesk software such as Revit, Navisworks, AutoCAD, or Civil 3D
- Strong communication skills and ability to work with multidisciplinary project teams
- Understanding of construction systems and coordination between structural, architectural, and MEPF trades
- Ability to manage multiple projects and coordination workflows simultaneously
- Interest in advancing VDC tools, workflows, and construction technology
- Note: Absher is a Federal Contractor. All job offers are contingent upon successful completion of a background check and drug screen.
- Salary offers are typically made between the entry and midpoint of the range and are based on factors such as experience, education, and internal equity.

- $80,000 - $100,000 USD

- All offers of employment are contingent upon successful completion of a pre-employment background check and drug screening. Background checks may include verification of employment history, education, criminal records, and references. For positions with access to company financial accounts or credit card programs, a credit history check may also be conducted.
- All screening is conducted in compliance with the Fair Credit Reporting Act (FCRA) and applicable state and local laws. Candidates will be asked to provide written consent prior to any screening. If results include information that may affect a hiring decision, candidates will have the opportunity to review and respond to the findings before a final decision is made.
Compensation
- $80,000 - $100,000 USD
