Responsibilities
- PEG, LLC is proud to partner with many of the nation's leading homebuilders in delivering construction compliance services.
- Junior Residential Mechanical Designers at PEG will have the opportunity to perform load calculations and design residential HVAC systems using the industry's leading modeling software.
- PEG specializes in green building and design which we incorporate in each project.
- Perform and review HVAC load calculations, duct sizing, and system sizing per ACCA Standards
- Provide support to analysis team
- Develop workarounds to overcome obstacles in the critical path
- Integrate, review, and validate critical relationships with primary parties
- Manage and control all data through Excel and SharePoint
- Understand current IECC and state codes for Residential Design
Requirements
- Advanced Proficiency in Excel/SharePoint
- Ability to read/write/comprehend technical instructions
Nice to have
- BS Degree in Mechanical Engineering or relevant field is required with a GPA of 3.0 or above.
- Relevant coursework includes but is not limited to the following:
- Thermodynamics, Fluids, HVAC, Material Science, and Circuits.
- AutoCAD or REVIT experience during college is a PLUS.
Compensation
- EIT is NOT required but salary incentive will be offered to those who obtain it.
