Responsibilities

  • PEG, LLC is proud to partner with many of the nation's leading homebuilders in delivering construction compliance services.
  • Junior Residential Mechanical Designers at PEG will have the opportunity to perform load calculations and design residential HVAC systems using the industry's leading modeling software.
  • PEG specializes in green building and design which we incorporate in each project.
  • Perform and review HVAC load calculations, duct sizing, and system sizing per ACCA Standards
  • Provide support to analysis team
  • Develop workarounds to overcome obstacles in the critical path
  • Integrate, review, and validate critical relationships with primary parties
  • Manage and control all data through Excel and SharePoint
  • Understand current IECC and state codes for Residential Design

Requirements

  • Advanced Proficiency in Excel/SharePoint
  • Ability to read/write/comprehend technical instructions

Nice to have

  • BS Degree in Mechanical Engineering or relevant field is required with a GPA of 3.0 or above.
  • Relevant coursework includes but is not limited to the following:
  • Thermodynamics, Fluids, HVAC, Material Science, and Circuits.
  • AutoCAD or REVIT experience during college is a PLUS.

Compensation

  • EIT is NOT required but salary incentive will be offered to those who obtain it.
