Requirements

  • Job Summary & Objectives The Litigation Docket Specialist is responsible for performing entry level litigation-related services for the Firm and possessing basic knowledge of litigation practices.

Nice to have

  • Review emails and requests received and draft appropriate responses to attorneys and Firm administration
  • Communicate with case teams on various litigation related matters
  • Assist with and train on basic electronic filing in federal and state jurisdictions
  • Escalate complex docketing questions or issues to Senior Docketing Specialist
  • Communicate with court personnel via phone and email, as necessary
  • Bachelor's degree is required

Skills

  • 0 to 2 years of relevant experience required
  • Knowledge of the entry level litigation docketing and calendaring process
  • Ability to communicate basic litigation processes to case team and attorneys
  • Must be able to work independently and collaboratively in a highly competitive and demanding environment
  • Strong attention to detail and self-motivated to produce accurate, timely and complete work product
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills and excellent research and analytical skills
  • Knowledge of basic filing procedures in federal and state courts

Compensation

  • NY Only: The estimated base salary range for this position is $60,000 to $75,000 at the time of posting.
  • This role is non-exempt meaning it is overtime pay eligible.
