About the role
- Tayco is seeking two (2) motivated and enthusiastic Production Specialist 1 - Industrial Painters to join our dynamic team as we work toward achieving a new vision.
- The Industrial Painter is responsible for applying powder coatings to finished products and components using manual and automated painting systems.
- This role ensures that proper painting techniques are followed, quality standards are maintained in accordance with Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs), and production and quality targets are achieved.
Responsibilities
- Cleans paint lines/stain booth, paint guns and performs other cleaning preventative maintenance to ensure that painting apparatus remains in working order.
- Maintains a clean and well-organized work area; works in conjunction with afternoon shift employees to do so, as needed.
- Performs other duties as assigned from time to time at the discretion of management.
Requirements
- Works overtime as required.
- Must be able to understand verbal and written work instructions in English as accuracy and attention to detail is necessary for the performance of this position.

- Is knowledgeable of, and compliant with Workplace Hazardous Materials Information System (WHMIS) and Occupational Health and Safety Act (OHSA).
- Candidates must be able to wear the required PPE in accordance with applicable health and safety regulations and Tayco policies.
