About the role

  • Job Description: Hai Hospitality (Uchi, Uchiko, and Uchiba) is accepting applications for an experienced Sushi Chef!

  • Our Sushi Chefs earn an average of $25 per hour (hourly base wage + tips) and enjoy outstanding opportunities for long-term career growth within Hai Hospitality.

Responsibilities

  • Mentor and support fellow Sushi Chefs while fostering a positive, team-first culture
  • Maintain exceptional food quality, cleanliness, and attention to detail every shift

Requirements

  • Must be able to effectively communicate with guests and other employees
  • Must have the ability to stand and walk for extended periods
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced, high-pressure environment
  • Ability to work in a variety of temperatures, both hot and cold
  • Ability to use kitchen equipment safely and efficiently, such as ovens, grills, and knives
  • Ability to work in close proximity to coworkers in a crowded kitchen or serving area
