About the role

  • Inspire, coach, and empower team members to act as the voice of quality across regions and functions.
  • Conduct Functional Safety audits and assessments as a co-auditor during the product development lifecycle to ensure compliance with ISO 26262.
  • Provide guidance on ISO 26262 process compliance and product conformance to project team members, project managers, and safety managers.

Responsibilities

  • in your new role Lead, shape, and further develop a global Product Quality team of approximately four professionals located in the United States and India.
  • Own Quality Management throughout the entire product lifecycle for a diverse portfolio of power semiconductor solutions for automotive and functional safety products, as well as emerging power solutions for advanced robotics applications.
  • Define and drive Functional Safety quality strategies for automotive and safety-critical applications in accordance with applicable standards, including ISO 26262.
  • Support external Functional Safety assessments/audits by certification bodies (e.g., TÜV, Exida).
  • Ensure quality processes fully support Functional Safety concepts from item definition through production and field monitoring.
  • Support development teams in achieving Automotive Safety Integrity Level (ASIL) requirements and safety goals.
  • Support assessments and audits related to Functional Safety, customer requirements, and industry standards.
  • Support key customer engagements and quality discussions, representing the company as a senior quality leader.
  • Drive effective escalation management and resolution of critical customer quality concerns.

Compensation

  • Minimum of $194,200 salary per year / Maximum of $267,100 salary per year In addition, all employees will be eligible to participate in an incentive plan. #LI-TG1
