About the role

  • The Inbound Quality Technician is responsible for ensuring that all incoming materials and products meet the company's quality standards before they are accepted into inventory.
  • This role involves inspecting, testing, and verifying the quality of inbound goods, maintaining detailed records.

Responsibilities

  • Maintain accurate and detailed records of inspection results, including test data and any non-conformance reports.

  • Perform various tests and measurements using appropriate tools and equipment.
  • Identify and document any defects or deviations from specifications.

Requirements

  • The ideal candidate will have a keen eye for detail, strong analytical skills, and the ability to work independently.
  • Minimum of 2 years of experience in a quality control or quality assurance role, preferably in a manufacturing or production environment.
  • Ability to read and interpret technical drawings and specifications.
  • Proficiency in using inspection tools and equipment (e.g., calipers, micrometers, gauges, CMM).
  • Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to make sound decisions based on inspection results.
  • High school diploma or equivalent; associate degree or technical certification in a related field preferred.

Compensation

  • Salary Basis: Hourly
