- The foundation of the Public Safety team is Public Safety Dispatch.
Responsibilities
- The Public Safety Department is a multifaceted department made up of Metro Transit Security Specialists (TSS), contracted security guards, regional district Metro task force officers, local police department partners, and deputies.
- Dispatch appropriate units/equipment (TSS, Contract Security, Deputies, Police Partners, Fire, EMS, etc.…).
- Maintain a daily incident report in the RTCC of events observed and/or reported.
- Assist Metrolink and Metro Bus by entering DRD/Hard Drive request for various incidents.
- Maintain time sheets for secondary Law Enforcement and Contract Security.
Company info
- Monitor/Answering text messages (QUIQ) from customers.
- Assist ADA customers when special circumstances arise.
