About the role
- Under the direction of the Head Coach, the Assistant Coach will be responsible for implementing skill development programs for the Cheerleading program.
- This is a part-time, 12-month position with the majority of duties being performed September through April with other duties as needed in the off-months.
Requirements
- Frequent evening and weekend hours required
- Some travel required
Nice to have
- Bachelor's degree
- Minimum 5 years of demonstrated effective coaching experience with a collegiate or competitive cheerleading program (or a combination of coaching and relevant experience)
- USA Cheer certification
- Knowledge of the rules and safety regulations of the sport of cheerleading
- Knowledge of all styles of cheerleading (NCA, UCA, STUNT, ect.)
- Knowledge of various social media platforms and experience creating social media content preferred
- Administrative skills such as prioritization, organization, and budgeting are needed.
- Must be self-directed and motivated and be able to work independently and work under pressure.
Compensation
- This position has a fixed rate of $15.73 per hour.
