About the role

  • Utilizing the full nursing process-assessment, planning, implementation, and evaluation-the RN provides safe, evidence‑based clinical care while collaborating with providers, leadership, and interdisciplinary team members.
  • The RN promotes optimal patient outcomes by coordinating care, supporting nurse‑sensitive quality indicators, ensuring continuity across the care continuum, and engaging patients and families in education and self‑management.
  • This position also plays a key role in maintaining patient safety, improving clinical processes, and supporting organizational quality initiatives.

Responsibilities

  • Maintain regulation of patients enrolled in the Anti-Coagulation Clinic on home monitor or off- sites, follow through with physician orders of results.
  • Maintain proper documentation on all patients in the EMR.
  • Phone patients with response of physician order and document.

Requirements

  • Associates Degree

Nice to have

  • Preferred Job Qualifications
  • Two (2) years experience as a RN via inpatient or outpatient setting or One (1) year experience Cardiology, ED or Critical Care.
  • ANCC Ambulatory Nursing Certification
  • Preferred Licensure or other certifications:
  • Preferred Experience: Two (2) years experience as a RN via inpatient or outpatient setting or One (1) year experience Cardiology, ED or Critical Care.

Skills

  • Demonstrates knowledge appropriate to care for pediatric, adolescent, adult and geriatric patient populations specific to unit of practice
  • Meets all certification requirements defined by unit (i.e. BLS, ACLS, PALS)
  • Demonstrates critical thinking skills
  • Demonstrates sound clinical skills and judgment
  • Basic computer skills necessary to operate computer systems used on unit
  • Job Specific and Unique Knowledge, Skills and Abilities

Compensation

  • $31k-$65k
