Responsibilities

  • Design, write and optimize your own code, as well as ensuring your team members are able to optimize theirs.
  • Maintain availability for after-hours production support as needed.
  • Responsible for the technical design of the Company's platforms, working with business analysts and end users to understand the functional requirements, and translate these into technical designs for the team to deliver.
  • Proven experience designing and developing, maintaining and evolving secure and performant RESTful APIs and services.
  • We provide a comprehensive shared-keg solution designed to eliminate the inefficient and costly method in which kegs have traditionally been owned, tracked and retrieved by breweries.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree, or equivalent work experience
  • Required Skills & Competencies:
  • Expert Proficiency with AWS, including Lambda, IAM, Cognito, SMS, SQS, Elastic Beanstalk, EC2, CloudWatch.
  • Proven experience with event-driven, object-oriented, and service-oriented patterns and architectures
  • Experience with React or similar component-based web framework.
  • Strong understanding of algorithms, data structures, architectural design patterns and best practices

Nice to have

  • Experience with observability platforms
  • DataDog preferred
  • Python experience
  • Exposure to Java FX
  • Experience in data pipeline technologies such as Apache Kafka, Spark.
  • Managerial experience
  • Applicants must be currently authorized to work in the United States on a full-time basis.
  • This is a fully in-office position.

Compensation

  • $130,000 - $170,000, plus bonus
  • The salary of the finalist(s) selected for this role will be set based on a variety of factors, including but not limited to, experience, education, specialty and training.
