About the role

  • Job Title: Metrology Engineer Location: Swiftwater About the Job The Metrology Engineer serves as the technical Subject Matter Expert (SME) for all instrumentation related questions, deviations, or enhancements.
  • The individual works collaboratively to complete assignments and oversees the successful completion of tasks.

Responsibilities

  • Support the change management system through the completion of action items
  • Metrology lead for deviations in area of responsibility
  • Support/create corrective and preventive action plans
  • Supports/Leads safety initiatives
  • Maintains training as current
  • Support field related activities

Requirements

  • Using solid analytical skills, the incumbent must be able to recognize problems of moderate scope and complexity and independently develop potential solutions and courses of action.

Skills

  • Good understanding of current Maintenance and Metrology best practices and common issues addressed by Metrology
  • Proficiency with CMMS (i.e. ProCal), SAP, IndySoft, data historian programs are a requirement.
  • Led implementation activities or technical initiatives
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Ability to actively and cooperatively work with cross functional teams
