About the role

PRIMARY RESPONSIBILITIES The primary responsibilities of this role include, but are not limited to: Consistent launch of new groups including monthly group launches and Rooted groups.
Work collaboratively with the Groups Team to achieve goals.
Participate in Groups Team activities such as Leader Rallies, Real Discipleship Training, and monthly Life Group Experiences.

Develop the Young Adult Ministry with the goal of steadily increasing the number of Young Adults in Life Groups.
MY ONE THING Support the Groups Ministry at VRL with an emphasis on Young Adult groups and launching new groups of all types.
Maintain growing relationship with Jesus Create a Relational Culture
Build all relationships like Jesus, graciously, directly, & lovingly Connect the Unconnected
Access to an Employee Assistance Program for additional support

3-5 years ministry experience or equivalent employment and volunteer-based experience.
Experience leading teams or volunteers required.
Solid computer knowledge and experience with MS Office.
Related education, degree, or training preferred
Strong communication skills

Attend VRL church services on a regular basis
Have attended or are willing to attend The Journey and sign a membership agreement.

Be in a Life Group on a regular basis.
Regularly tithe/give of income to God through VRL.
Abiding in Christ and continuing to grow toward Christlikeness and spiritual maturity.
Attend monthly All Staff meeting and participate in department meetings or other meetings when requested to do so.
