About the role
- This role is accountable for the marketing strategy and deliverables in a new product initiative from concept to commercialization.
- This role will require strong financial and business acumen, deep understanding of clinical value propositions, and the ability to integrate cross-functional inputs to shape product concepts that are commercially and clinically compelling.
- Integrate clinical insights into marketing strategy, ensuring product concepts reflect patient outcomes, medical need, and clinical evidence
Responsibilities
- Own marketing strategy and deliverables across multiple high-complexity projects
- Lead development of target product profiles, value propositions, positioning, and business cases that are financially rigorous and evidence-based
- Lead market opportunity analyses, including competitive assessment, market potential, and unmet need identification
- Build out robust business cases, including revenue projections, NPV analyses, cost of goods considerations, and pricing strategies
- Partner with Finance to model project scenarios and assess financial impact of strategic choices
- Collaborate with PMO to ensure stage-gate readiness
- Partner with Global Downstream and Regional Marketing to provide launch readiness input, market prioritization guidance, and go-to-market strategy alignment
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree or higher and 5+ years of experience in upstream or downstream product marketing
- Must be legally authorized to work in country of employment without sponsorship for employment visa status (e.g., H1B status).
Nice to have
- Advanced degree (e.g., MBA, Economics, or related field)
- Experience with stage-gate processes and tools
- Strong financial and business case acumen, including revenue modeling, NPV analyses, and pricing strategies
- Excellent strategic thinking, problem-solving, analytical, and communication skills
- Knowledge of the advanced wound care market, including negative pressure wound therapies
- Ability to thrive in an action-oriented and high accountability environment
- The expected compensation range for this position is $163,200 - $224,400, which includes base pay plus variable incentive pay, if eligible.
