About the role
- We're hiring a Contract Accountant to join Rilla's Finance team.
Responsibilities
- Manage revenue recognition in accordance with GAAP, including subscription and multi-period arrangements
- Drive finance system implementations and workflow automation
- Maintain and strengthen accounting policies, procedures, and internal controls
- Partner with operations, finance, and leadership on budgeting, forecasting, and ad hoc analyses
- Identify and implement process improvements that increase efficiency and help us scale

Requirements
- You are always looking to learn more and learn faster.
- 2+ years of experience at an accounting firm, ideally with SaaS clients
- Strong working knowledge of GAAP accounting practices
- Hands-on experience with QuickBooks and NetSuite
- CPA certification and a degree in Accounting or Finance
- Attempting to build a generational company, and the intensity required to do so
Compensation
- The estimated salary is $105,000 per year.
- Successful candidates with competing offers will receive matching and competitive offers.
- Total compensation for this position may also include Incentive Stock Options and other potential future incentives.
- Assist with month-end, quarter-end, and annual close - journal entries, reconciliations, and supporting schedules
- Support annual audits, tax filings, and coordination with external auditors and advisors
