About the role
- Disassemble equipment to remove parts and make repairs.
- Examine parts for defects such as breakage and excessive wear.
- Repair and replace broken and malfunctioning components.
Responsibilities
- The Electrical Technician is responsible to maintain, troubleshoot, calibrate and modify electrical and mechanical systems and equipment.
- Maintain and modify electrical and mechanical systems within a GMP production environment.
- Maintain PC applications for control systems. PLC programming for material handling systems, production equipment and packaging equipment.

Requirements
- Must have an Associate's degree in either Electromechanical Technology or Electronic Engineering Technology, or an electrical license, or 5 years of related work experience in lieu of degree.
- Must have 1+ years relevant work experience as an Electrical technician or other related position (such as an automation technician).
- Troubleshooting skills and experience are required.

Nice to have
- Preferred 5+ years of experience in industrial setting or, Pharmaceutical GMP environment.
- Strong computer skills (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and internet).
- Demonstrated knowledge of safety compliance.
- Good oral and written communication skills.
- Root cause analyst knowledge.
- Computer Maintenance Management System (CMMS) knowledge (e.g. SAP).
- The shift is 1st Shift: 6:30am-3pm, Monday - Friday.
