About the role

  • This role provides nursing care to the patient undergoing Diagnostic and Interventional Radiology procedures.

Responsibilities

  • Maintains a safe environment for patients during their Diagnostic and Interventional Radiology procedures
  • Cardiovascular Support: ECG interpretation, management of vasoactive drugs, hemodynamic monitoring.

  • 1st preference to employee on current night schedule on unit
  • Minimum one year recent Critical Care or Radiology RN experience
  • Act 34 Criminal Background Clearance Certificate
  • Act 33 Child Abuse Clearance Certificate
  • Act 73 FBI Fingerprinting Criminal Background Clearance Certificate
  • CPR - American Heart Association
  • Current State of PA RN licensure OR Current multi-state licensure through the enhanced Nurse Licensure Compact (eNLC)

  • As a Radiology RN, you will provide professional nursing care in a perioperative setting, circulating during invasive procedures and providing moderate sedation.
  • You'll collaborate closely with radiologists and technologists in a fast-paced, high-volume environment, specializing in neurointervention (including embolic stroke, arterial occlusion, tumor treatments, vascular access device insertion, biopsies, arterial and venous embolization/thrombectomy, and TIPS).
  • This role requires meticulous attention to detail and sterile technique, similar to an OR setting.
