About the role

  • Join Our Festival Foods Team as a Deli Hot Bar Cook!
  • If you have experience in fast food, as a line cook, or in a deli or restaurant setting, or no experience - but a willingness to learn, we'd love to talk with you about the Deli Hot Bar Cook opportunity at Festival Foods.
  • In this role, you'll play a key part in enhancing breakfast, lunch, and dinner experiences for our guests.

Responsibilities

  • Maintain high-quality conditions at the hot bar, ensuring all items are garnished attractively to entice guests and adhere to proper protocols for item shrinking.
  • Collect food temperatures and maintain hot food logs to ensure safety and quality standards.

Requirements

  • Your friendly demeanor and knowledge of food service will enhance their shopping experience.
  • To perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential job duty satisfactorily.
  • Ability to work at a fast pace in changing temperatures (coolers, kitchens, freezers, sales floor) Ability to lift up to 50 pounds Bending, kneeling, standing in plan for long periods of time.

Skills

  • Ability to interact tactfully with guests and personnel, with good oral and written communication skills.
  • Experience in fast food, deli, or restaurant environments will be valuable.
