About the role

  • WHOLESALE SALES CONTRACTOR Summary: ORA is hiring a Wholesale Sales Contractor to join our growing, New York City based team.

Responsibilities

  • As the Wholesale Sales Contractor, you will play a pivotal role in driving top-line revenue growth through relationship building, account management, effective marketing execution and operational excellence.
  • You effectively manage all aspects of the retail buying cycle from pitch to delivery of products, coordinating with many facets of the business to ensure timely execution of customer orders, accurate inventory control, and an efficient workflow.
  • Partner with ORA's senior team to plan GTM strategies and retail partnerships
  • Implement a quarterly marketing calendar that is aligned with the organization's marketing strategy, to support each account's sales, merchandising and inventory planning to help drive growth
  • Identify and execute optimal GWP, sampling, and programming opportunities to build brand awareness
  • Partner with marketing and events coordinators to execute offsite events to drive brand and product awareness
  • Maintain ongoing knowledge and research of the competitive landscape
  • Support other areas of business as needed

Requirements

  • You must be a self-starter with an entrepreneurial mindset and have exceptional flexibility and resourcefulness.

  • Occasional travel may be required
  • Maintain sales reporting across all retail channels, possess strong understanding of top-selling SKUs, MoM growth and projections
  • 2-3 years of wholesale or equivalent education experience
  • Successful record of meeting sales goals and expectations
  • Track record of success in developing and executing marketing initiatives
  • Familiarity and proficiency with communicating with buyers and navigating mass retail relationships in the wellness space
  • Superior analytical skills and sound business and financial judgment
  • Competency in MS Excel, Google platforms, and the ability to quickly master and implement new applications and systems
  • Passion for wellness and willingness to embrace ORA's mission, vision and core values

Nice to have

  • Previous experience at a scaling startup is a plus

Compensation

  • Work cross-functionally to assist in creating annual, seasonal, and monthly forecasts along with a selling strategy to achieve goals
  • Develop strong partnerships with accounts by having an open dialog about new products, stock levels and marketing opportunities to meet top-line monthly, quarterly and annual revenue targets
