Responsibilities

  • Work closely with, and, together with the Investment and Asset Management Teams, manage and provide instructions to external legal counsel (including establishing and monitoring legal budgets).
  • Work closely with QuadReal's Tax Team to develop, implement and maintain efficient business structures.
  • Collaborate closely with QuadReal's Legal Team.
  • Based out of Toronto you would be responsible for providing legal support, oversight and strategic advice to some or all of QuadReal's North American Real Estate Equity Investments, Credit businesses and operating platforms.
  • Eagerness to develop a deep understanding of how legal and business decisions impact a broader organisation.
  • QuadReal seeks to deliver strong investment returns while creating sustainable environments that bring value to the people and communities it serves.
  • The Transactions Legal Team provides commercial advice and legal support to QuadReal with respect to its investments and operating platforms.

Requirements

  • Required level of qualification:
  • Minimum of 3 years post-qualification experience at a top tier law firm in its real estate, corporate-real estate or real estate-finance practice.
  • Reporting to Director, Legal, in our Toronto office, you would undertake some or all of the following matters with an appropriate degree of supervision depending on the task:

  • The expected annualized base salary range for this role is $150,000 - $170,000

Compensation

  • The expected annualized base salary range for this role is $150,000 – $170,000
