Responsibilities

  • Maintains appropriate lines of communication with all school district stakeholders including superintendents, administrators, deans of instruction, principals and counselors.
  • Participates and contributes to institutional-wide planning in support of the mission and goals of the College.
  • Leads and monitors the success of all Dual Credit Programs including the dual credit course offerings, Early College High Schools and Dual Credit Partnerships, Academies and High School Projects and Programs.
  • Develops and promotes all student college-readiness programs such as Summer Bridge, TexPREP, and Recovery programs.
  • Leads the development of a contemporary and comprehensive early college strategy and the implementation of the approved plan.
  • Collaborates closely with the Office of Sponsored Initiatives department to seek grant opportunities to support innovative initiatives in the dual credit area.
  • Maintains knowledge of the College's programs, policies, procedures, academic standards and applicable federal, state, and local laws and regulations.

Requirements

  • Must have or qualify for a valid Texas driver's license and proof of liability insurance.
  • Ability to receive detailed information through oral communication, and to make the discrimination in sound.
