- The University of Miami Division of Enrollment Management has an exciting opportunity for a full time Director, Admissions - Recruitment to work in Coral Gables, FL.
- This position oversees the entire Recruitment team which includes 10 full time employees and four direct reports (3 associate directors and 1 assistant director).
Responsibilities
- Leads the recruitment strategy on behalf of Undergraduate Admission, which includes direct management of both domestic and international travel.
- Crafts and manages onboarding process for new hires and oversees in-house professional development for full-time staff.
- Manages Slate (Technolutions) platforms to lead accurate, timely reporting to internal and external constituents
- Performs employee evaluations of direct reports

Requirements
- prior management experience required
- Must have the ability to work independently, as well as with teams of colleagues, and possess the aptitude for detail-oriented tasks
- Must possess strong time management skills, a sense of humor, and have the ability to prioritize and balance responsibilities
- Ability to communicate effectively in both oral and written form, including giving presentations
- Ability to work independently and successfully in CRM system (Slate) and reader platform (Slate Reader)
- Ability to effectively plan, delegate, and supervise the work of others
- Ability to handle difficult and stressful situations with professional composure
- Strong time management skills, with the ability to prioritize and balance numerous responsibilities
- Up to 4 weeks of domestic and/or international travel in the fall and up to 2 weeks in the spring will be required.
- 10 years of professional experience within higher education; prior management experience required
- Must possess excellent management, presentation, communication, organizational, and relationship-building skills
- Ability to lead team to achievement of project goals
- Ability to direct, manage, implement, and evaluate department operations
- Ability to establish department goals, and objectives, that support the strategic plan
- Ability to maintain effective interpersonal relationships, both internally and externally
Nice to have
- Bachelor's Degree in relevant field required, Master's Degree preferred
Compensation
- $100,000-$110,000
