Responsibilities
- This role is an opportunity for a seasoned Electrical Engineer to lead innovative electrical design for specialized control systems.
- From planning to commissioning, you will manage complex, custom projects across a range of industries.
- Drive design and development of electrical control systems.
- Lead schematic design, panel design, PLC and HMI programming, and integration of industrial networks.
- Participate in design reviews with project stakeholders and provide regular updates.
- Maintain knowledge of NEC and current control technologies.
- Support sales and marketing with advanced technical expertise.
- Oversee design-build phases, ensuring successful production and installation.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Electrical, Systems, or Computer Engineering from an ABET-accredited program.
- 5+ years of experience (or 3+ years with a Master's) in control system design.
- Strong knowledge of control system architecture, functional safety, and NEC.
- Ability to interpret schematics and generate technical documentation.
- Experience with custom project risk management and interdisciplinary collaboration.
- Master's degree in Electrical, Systems, or Computer Engineering.
- Experience with Siemens controls.
- Proficiency in AutoCAD.
- Familiarity with Visual Basic and/or C.
