About the role
- As a Crop Applicator I I, you'll be responsible for the safe, legal, and efficient application of plant protection and fertilizer products to a variety of crops.
- This hands-on role includes operating specialized equipment, maintaining accurate records, and ensuring all products are handled with precision and care.
- Safely and accurately apply pesticides and fertilizers to customer fields using various application equipment.
Responsibilities
- Perform daily equipment inspections and conduct basic maintenance and repairs as needed.
- Maintain clean and functional application equipment; coordinate usage and return of all tools and machinery.
Requirements
- 1+ years of experience, at least 18 years old
- Class A CDL required
- Knowledge of calibration techniques and equipment operation
- Ability to lift 5 0 lbs.
- You have a c lean driving record
- You have s trong time management skills with the ability to set priorities
- You have e xcellent English written and verbal communication skills
- Willingness to work long hours and varied shifts during peak season up to 6
- 7 days/week, 10
- 14 hours/day
- Willingness to participate in drug and alcohol testing and routine medical exams
- High school diploma or GED
- You're p ersonable with growers and employees
- You're a ble to work with minim al supervision
