About the role
- We do not believe in the 'perfect' candidate.
- This is a full-time position based in our Oakland, California office, with a hybrid schedule: in-office Monday, Wednesday, and Thursday.
Responsibilities
- Design is embedded in product strategy and company direction.
- Establish industry-leading AI design patterns for high-stakes legal workflows.
- Partner with senior Product and Engineering leaders to frame complex challenges, clarify tradeoffs, anticipate risks, and guide strategic decisions.
- Influence org-wide design tooling, workflows, and standards, including the Bluebook Design System's interaction patterns, visual language, and motion principles.
- Represent Everlaw internally and externally, and help set the standards for design in the Legal Tech industry.

Compensation
- The expected salary range for this role is between $229,000 - $290,000.
- The final offered salary will be dependent upon many factors including the candidate's experience and skills.
- The base pay range is subject to change in the future.
