Responsibilities
- Assist lead attorneys and paralegals in managing personal injury cases from initial Litigation assignment all the way through settlement.
- Draft, format, and proofread legal documents, including pleadings, correspondence, and discovery requests.
- Maintain and organize case files, including electronic records, ensuring accurate and up-to-date documentation.
- Prepare legal documents for filing with courts and ensure proper filing procedures are followed.
- Track deadlines and manage case calendars to ensure compliance with filing and hearing dates.
- Provide general administrative support, including answering phones, managing emails, and processing mail.
Requirements
- 1-3 years of experience as a legal assistant or in a litigation support role, preferably in personal injury law.

- Schedule appointments, hearings, depositions, and client meetings.
- Assist in trial preparation, including organizing exhibits, witness lists, and trial binders.
- Process settlements, including drafting settlement agreements and disbursement of funds.
- High school diploma or equivalent required.
