About the role
- In any given week you might be asked to:
- Evolve and scale existing systems that creators and fans already rely on.
- Investigate and resolve issues affecting user experience.
Responsibilities
- Design and build new backend systems and APIs for user-facing features.
- Partner with client engineers on the contracts between your services and their code.
- Collaborate with product managers, data scientists, designers, and other engineers.

Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, or a related field, or the equivalent.
- 2-3+ years of experience in software development.
- Experience with Python or a similar language.
- Experience shipping backend systems and APIs powering consumer-facing features and the ability to speak to how you balanced technical constraints with user experience decisions.
- The ability to weigh trade-offs clearly and explain technical decisions to stakeholders.
- Frontend development experience (React, TypeScript).
