About the role
- The Operations Specialist, COBRA is responsible for plan setup, maintenance of plan structure and member accounts for COBRA and Direct Bill.
- This role is also responsible for processing files, forms, and payments at the member level.
- Serve as an internal resource, troubleshoot questions and provide issue resolution using product, file and system knowledge
Responsibilities
- Maintain detailed knowledge in function area(s) related to COBRA and Direct Bill
- Create, update and maintain member plans and balances
- Create, update and maintain employer plans
- Maintain a continuous improvement approach to work
- Maintain attendance and punctuality standards
- Maintain expected quality and performance metrics
- Maintain policy according to HIPAA
Requirements
- Minimum Required Qualifications for Consideration
- Must have product, system, file and technical knowledge and experience.
Nice to have
- Must pass a successful background investigation
- Experience with computer proficiency
- Experience with Section 125, HIPAA and HITECH Regulations
- Experience with administrative software, computer proficiency and 10 key/keyboard
- Actual pay rates will vary and will be based on various factors, such as your qualifications, skills, competencies, and proficiency for the role.
- Base pay is one component of WEX's total compensation package.
- Most sales positions are eligible for commission under the terms of an applicable plan.
