About the role

  • This leader serves as a strategic advisor, enabling their team to engage customers in a consultative manner that maximizes the value of Microsoft investments, simplifies licensing complexity, and strengthens long-term customer loyalty.
  • Establish performance metrics and accountability measures focused on customer satisfaction, retention, renewal attainment, and operational excellence.
  • Analytical Thinking: Can use advanced analytical techniques to solve complex problems, draw insights, and communicate the solutions effectively.

Responsibilities

  • Can develop and execute business plans to drive growth and profitability.
  • Can manage major changes in organizational processes or policies, can facilitate change management processes among others, can mentor others in effective change management, and can adapt change management style based on the situation and the organization's needs.
  • Can facilitate group decision-making processes, build consensus, and commit to a course of action even in the face of uncertainty.
  • Can take ownership of complex team initiatives, collaborate with diverse groups, and drive results through effective relationship management.
  • Lead, coach, and develop a team of Microsoft licensing professionals focused on customer retention, licensing expertise, and account management excellence.
  • Build a high-performance, customer-centric culture that emphasizes consultative engagement, proactive support, and measurable customer outcomes.
  • Partner with sales, customer success, solution specialists, and Microsoft stakeholders to develop account strategies that strengthen customer relationships and improve retention.
  • Collaborate with leadership to identify customer trends, market opportunities, and process improvements that enhance the organization's Microsoft practice.
  • Support strategic business initiatives focused on increasing customer loyalty, improving contract retention rates, and expanding long-term customer value.
  • Business Acumen: Can develop and execute business plans to drive growth and profitability.

Requirements

  • Skilled at executive communication, presenting to and working closely with internal and external leaders as required
  • Completed Bachelor's degree or a related experience.
  • 3+ years of experience in Microsoft licensing, sales support, or a related field
  • 2+ years of experience in an account management or sales related field
  • Microsoft certifications must be maintained during employment
  • Additional certifications as required

Compensation

  • The estimated annual pay range for this position is $150,000 - $250,000 which includes a base salary and bonus.
