Responsibilities
- Model the way for a safe, environmentally sound and healthy work behaviors in support of Finning's Safety Policies, Programs and initiatives
- Collaborate with the stakeholders at the Branch and in the Field to ensure the successful execution of operations
- Lead effective resolutions for customer and supplier issues to achieve high customer loyalty
- Motivate and develop team members to achieve personal and team performance objectives
- Manage and execute training requirements, performance evaluations and coaching sessions for all direct reports
Requirements
- Minimum 3 years leadership experience
- Computer literate with proficiency in Microsoft Applications, SIS and Caterpillar Corporate Web Navigation
- A condition of employment is the ability to be fit tested and the ability to wear a respirator
- Journeyperson Certificate Red Seal is preferred (we are open to all trades certification)
- Class 5 drivers license and a successful drivers abstract
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills
- Excellent planning and organizational skills
- Completion of Finning S-Levels, Failure Analysis, Machine Electronic Controls, or Tier 4 training would be considered an asset
- This position is based in our Regina shop, on a 4x3 compressed AFTERNOON (3 PM
- 1 AM) shift

- We are adding an afternoon shift (3 PM - 1 AM) to our busy Regina shop and we're looking to hire a Leadhand to join the team!
- As a Leadhand, you are responsible for a variety of troubleshooting, repair and rebuild duties within the facility as well as providing leadership and instruction to others in their service and repair of Caterpillar equipment.

- Wage: $52.86 - $54.15 / hr
- Additional Afternoon Shift Premium: $3.50
- Bonus Target: 4%

- Job Description:
- Coordinate and schedule work orders and repairs, provide warranty decisions and administer claims as appropriate
- Provide guidance to the teams on Finning policies
- Review and monitor warranty statements to ensure business objectives are achieved
