About the role
- The Honolulu Authority for Rapid Transportation (HART) is the public transit authority responsible for planning and constructing Skyline, Honolulu's rail transit system.
- It is the first fully automated, driverless urban light metro system in the United States and represents the largest public infrastructure project in the history of Hawaii.
- HART is seeking a dedicated and proactive Procurement and Contracts Manager to join its team.
Responsibilities
- Job Duties & Responsibilities Provide day-to-day procurement and contract management support, including addressing inquiries, identifying noncompliance issues, and drafting follow-up correspondence.
- Develop solicitation packages that comply with federal and state regulations to meet project objectives.
- Collaborate with project managers and other departments to prepare documents for presentations to the Change Control Committee, executive management, or the HART Board.
Requirements
- Candidates must be able to reliably commute or relocate to Honolulu by first day of employment.
