About the role

Join GP Enterprise Solutions (GPES) - a company focused on solving challenges in the alternative asset space through the lens of simplicity.
As a key player in a small startup, you will have the ability to prioritize, focus, and communicate with both technical and non-technical audiences.
Work on backend node.js APIs, React web UIs, and Docker-based infrastructure.

Participate in the full software development lifecycle; technical analysis and design, development, and unit test phases.
Ability to identify, deliver, and drive improvements and innovations within the development area.
Ensure all aspects of good design and construction are delivered.
Manage AWS infrastructure including but not limited to databases, servers, and serverless functions.
Participate in database schema design changes.

Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or related field.
5+ years of software development experience.
Proficiency with Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, Outlook, Teams).
Hands-on experience with ReactJS, NodeJS, Typescript, JavaScript.
Experience working with cloud platforms (AWS).
Experience working with Infrastructure as code (CDK).
Deep understanding of ORM and experience with MySql DB.
Ability to establish development standards and ensure code quality and security.
Familiarity with security compliance standards (SOC2).
Familiarity with observability tools (New Relic).
