About the role

  • Gartner invests heavily in sales support resources, such as our Digital Analytics and Marketing Analytics programs. These programs are designed to support ongoing sales skill development globally, as well as taking marketing-derived leads and equipping sales to close them.
  • This Business Analyst will join our Marketing Analytics team, focusing on our Digital Experience & Acquisition program success by analyzing data, developing insights, and providing data-driven recommendations. This role requires strong communication, analytical skills, and the ability to collaborate with cross-functional business and sales teams to translate data into actionable recommendations.

Responsibilities

  • Deliver comprehensive analytics (reports, analytics, and presentations) to diagnose issues, identify risks, and lead conversations that inform and shape decision-making
  • Partner with key Gartner business leaders and cross-functional stakeholders across many different GSSO functions
  • Baseline understanding of SQL is expected to support data exploration and validation
  • Excellent project management skills, with the ability to manage multiple tasks across different projects at once

Requirements

  • 2-4+ years proven experience as a Business Analyst or Senior Business Analyst, preferably working in business and/or digital marketing analytics
  • Strong quantitative and qualitative problem-solving skills, with the ability to think strategically and make data-driven decisions
  • Strong analytical skills, including proficiency with web analytics tools like Google Analytics, Microsoft Excel and analytics databases
  • Excellent communication skills, with the ability to work effectively with different personalities across the organization
  • Strong understanding of dashboarding tools like Looker Studio and/or PowerBI and their capabilities
  • Experience working with senior and executive leadership
  • You enjoy working on projects with multiple people and share knowledge
  • You are always proactively looking for opportunities to problem solve using innovative methods that impact the business
