About the role

  • The Consulting Director operates as the ultimate Solution Owner and Engagement Lead for a portfolio of data and AI projects. Positioned between our commercial teams (Account Executives/Client Partners) and technical delivery teams, you will take high-level customer opportunities and shape them into concrete, executable project plans.
  • This role is ideal for a strong program leader who thrives in the data/AI space—acting as "the most technical person of the non-technical team, and the least technical person of the technical team." You will supervise the Delivery Managers running day-to-day operations, ensuring that the initial strategic vision is successfully executed to drive client

Responsibilities

  • Translate Opportunity to Execution: Partner with Client Partners and Technologists to take defined technical solutions and build concrete project plans, proposals, and execution roadmaps.
  • Team Supervision: Directly manage and mentor a team of Delivery Managers who handle day-to-day project management and client communication.

Requirements

  • 8-10+ years of experience in technical program management, professional services, or IT consulting delivery leadership.
  • Strong foundational knowledge of data pipelines, modern data platforms (e.g., Databricks, Snowflake), and emerging AI landscapes (LLMs, multi-flow agents).
  • Hands-on coding is not required, but technical fluency is mandatory.
  • Tenure: 8-10+ years of experience in technical program management, professional services, or IT consulting delivery leadership.
  • Technical Breadth: Strong foundational knowledge of data pipelines, modern data platforms (e.g., Databricks, Snowflake), and emerging AI landscapes (LLMs, multi-flow agents).

Nice to have

  • The "Translator": Ability to confidently discuss project execution metrics with delivery teams and high-level strategy with client executives.
  • Industry Focus: Financial Services experience is highly preferred, though top-tier enterprise program experience in other fast-paced sectors will be considered.
