Responsibilities

- This role will support Omnissa's goal of expanding its footprint in key states by building meaningful relationships with state legislators, governors' offices, and key government stakeholders at the state and local level.
- Partner closely with the sales, business development, and public sector solutions teams to identify and shape policy environments that drive new government business opportunities and expand existing pipelines.
- Develop and maintain a robust stakeholder map of key decision-makers across California and priority states.
- Serve as the company's primary liaison to state legislators, legislative staff, and Governor's Offices, building and maintaining trusted, long-term relationships.
- Organize and lead legislative visits, fly-ins, briefings, and roundtables with state and local government officials and company leadership.
- Demonstrated track record of building and leveraging relationships with state legislators, legislative staff, and/or the Governor's Office; experience in California strongly preferred.
- Proven ability to develop and execute multi-state government affairs strategies.
Requirements
- 3-4 years of experience in state government relations, public policy, or legislative affairs; experience in the technology sector strongly preferred.
- Strong understanding of state and local government procurement processes, IT modernization initiatives, and public sector technology needs.

Compensation
- The typical base salary for this role is between USD $135,000 - $225,000 per year and it may be eligible for participation in a corporate bonus program.
