You will serve as the company's primary representative before state and local government officials, positioning Omnissa solutions as essential tools for modernizing government operations.

Coordinate executive engagements between company leadership and senior government officials to strengthen high-level relationships and connect state and local public sector sales staff with key state stakeholders.
Monitor, analyze, and report on state and local legislation, regulatory proceedings, and budget developments relevant to technology procurement, cybersecurity, digital infrastructure, and public sector IT policy.
3-4 years of experience in state government relations, public policy, or legislative affairs
experience in the technology sector strongly preferred.
experience in California strongly preferred.
Deep understanding of state legislative and budget processes, regulatory environments, and political landscapes.
Experience working at the intersection of public policy and business development, with an ability to connect policy levers to commercial outcomes.
Strong understanding of state and local government procurement processes, IT modernization initiatives, and public sector technology needs.

The typical base salary for this role is between USD $135,000 – $225,000 per year and it may be eligible for participation in a corporate bonus program.

Bachelor's degree preferred, or equivalent combination of education and relevant professional experience.
