About the role
- Once a Portal leaves our Fab Lab, this role ensures it arrives, installs, and operates successfully in the real world.
- This role combines hands-on installation work, logistics coordination, and customer implementation.
- You'll act as the bridge between fabrication, logistics, and the customer experience.
Responsibilities
- Ability to perform repetitive tasks involving hands, wrists, and arms for extended periods.
Requirements
- Experience in field installation, AV deployment, hardware implementation, or technical operations
- Experience coordinating logistics, vendors, or project execution
- Ability to troubleshoot hardware, networking, or system issues independently
- Comfort traveling frequently for installations (40%-60%)
- Experience managing contractors or installation crews
- Experience deploying hardware products in the field
- Ability to bend, stoop, kneel, crouch, and reach as required to perform assembly and inspection tasks.
Compensation
- Competitive salary plus meaningful equity upside; salary range is $100,000-$120,000
