- The Director of Finance will function as the property's financial business leader, partnering with the General Manager and other property leaders.
Responsibilities
- With a global perspective and a commitment to thoughtful hospitality and sustainable dining, we bring enthusiasm, creativity, and local flair to every property we support.
- ➢ Supports General Manager in the achievement of financial goals by direct oversight
- Manage all accounting operations including A/R, A/P, GL
- ➢ Participates in sales and revenue strategy meetings to drive top line revenue ➢ Monitors daily operations to ensure all applicable taxes are current, collected, accrued and processed
- ➢ Develops property team members' business acumen regarding revenue growth, labor productivity, expense reduction, inventory control and overall understanding of the income statement and cash flow
- ➢ Utilizes interpersonal and communication skills to lead, influence and encourage others
Requirements
- Requires ability to investigate and analyze current activities or information and indicate logical conclusions and recommendations and make decisions based on established policies and procedures.
- ➢ Must be willing to "roll up the sleeves" to ensure the work gets done
- Education: Four-year college degree or equivalent education/experience.
Nice to have
- A minimum of ten (10) years' experience in related position.
- Hotel and/or hospitality experience required.
- CPA highly preferred Experience: A minimum of ten (10) years' experience in related position.
Skills
- Strong management skills, technical accounting expertise, exceptional analytical and problem-solving abilities.
- Requires advanced knowledge of the principles and practices within the finance and hospitality professions.
- Possesses experiential knowledge required for management of people and complex problems.
- Excellent oral, written, listening and presentation skills sufficient to produce communication that properly reflects the organization image
Compensation
- ➢ Salary Range $100-$120k
- ➢ Supervises/prepares accurate monthly, quarterly, and annual reports
- ➢ Leads the creation of accurate forecasts, annual budgets and business plans
- ➢ Administer banking arrangements and lead the preparation of the annual budgets.
