Responsibilities
- Utilizes pharmacy support personnel.
- Performs pharmacy functions to assure safe and effective medication delivery to the Nursing Department
- Designs, recommends, monitors, and evaluates patient-specific pharmacotherapy.
- Maintains confidentiality of patient information.
- Manages time effectively.
- This position is primarily a day shift role but will also require working every other weekend, holidays, and occasional evening shifts to support departmental operations.
- Employee Assistance Program (EAP) support
Requirements
- Required every other weekend rotation
- Graduate of an accredited School of Pharmacy (BS/PharmD degree)
- Current Maryland Pharmacist license required
- Supervisory/management experience not required but welcome
- Applicants may be required to furnish proof of vaccination.
Nice to have
- Minimum one year of hospital pharmacy practice
Compensation
- $55.88 - $83.82 If the salary range is listed as $0 or if the position is Per Diem (with a fixed rate), salary discussions will take place during the screening process.
