About the role

  • Preparing reports, manuals, and technical memorandums
  • Preparing proposals and engineering fee estimates
  • Ensuring quality control procedures are completed as per Binnie's Organizational Quality Management (OQM) Policy

Responsibilities

  • Binnie is looking for a Civil Design EIT to join our Development Squamish Division, which provides professional services for municipal infrastructure programs, large multi-family housing projects, and major commercial and industrial developments.
  • You will carry out design work on projects from conceptual level through to detailed design and construction.
  • Preparing design drawings using AutoCAD or Civil3D

Requirements

  • Completed Degree in Civil Engineering and registration as an EIT with EGBC
  • Minimum of 2 years of related professional work experience in an engineering or other related professional environment
  • Sound working knowledge of AutoCAD and Civil 3D
  • Ability to communicate effectively with colleagues, clients, other consultants and contractors
  • Ability to work cooperatively and productively in a team environment
  • Ability to consistently maintain a high degree of accuracy and quality in work

Nice to have

  • Valid Driver's License and personal vehicle preferred

Skills

  • Strong written communication skills including technical report writing

  • The salary for this position is commensurate with experience; the salary range for this position is $79,325 - $114,700 annually.
