About the role
- Make your mark in Underwriting AIG Underwriting teams help to find insurance solutions in areas including Financial Lines, Property, Casualty, Specialty Lines, Cyber, and Multinational Clients.
- In this role, you will be responsible for underwriting and managing an existing renewal book as well as soliciting new business opportunities.
- Through this role, underwriters gain access to a highly evolving and dynamic atmosphere that involves exposure to major influencers in the insurance, technology, and legal fields.

- Demonstrable experience formulating initiatives that support broader organizational aims.
- Experienced in building relationships externally and internally and managing key stakeholder relationships at executive and board level and with clients.
- Instill the need for direct reports to focus on and provide 'ease of use' to our Distribution Partners.
Skills
- Bachelor's degree from a four-year college or university.
- Superb verbal and written communication skills.
- Collegial and collaborative in approach and style.
- Ability to adapt quickly in an evolving market.
- Enjoys a challenge with a "can-do" attitude.
- Available to travel when required.
- Excellent people management and leadership skills.
Compensation
- for this position includes base salary and eligibility for a bonus in accordance with the terms of the applicable incentive plan.
