About the role

Responsibilities

  • The person will support market-making activities across stocks, forex, futures, and options, with the group's current focus being on the binary options offered on the ForecastEx exchange.
  • The support involves overseeing the activity and updates of the automated trading systems, looking for anomalous activity and tuning input parameters to control the activity.
  • The support systems use the Linux shell, along with some web-based interfaces.

Requirements

  • At least a bachelor's degree (a science, economics, or engineering degree, with math, physics, or computer science preferred). A master's or PhD degree would be a plus.
  • Self-motivated and able to handle tasks with minimal supervision.
  • Superb analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Excellent collaboration and communication (Verbal and written) skills.
  • Outstanding organizational and time management skills.
