About the role
- As a Principal Product Manager for WXP Alerting, you will own and advance the product strategy, roadmap, and delivery of WXP's alerting capabilities.
- This role will backfill the current alerting product leadership responsibilities and will focus on scaling WXP from basic alert monitoring into a flexible, intelligent, partner-ready alerting platform.
- You will partner closely with engineering, UX, data, platform, partner, Active Care, Print, ServiceNow, and customer-facing teams to define requirements, prioritize roadmap investments, manage dependencies, and deliver high-impact alerting capabilities that support real-time detection, custom alert creation, hardware and security metrics, schema-based extensibility, partner alert management, ITSM integrations, notifications, and future AI-assisted alert workflows.
Responsibilities
- Own the WXP Alerting product roadmap, including custom alerts, device- and fleet-level alerts, hardware alerts, security metrics, schema-based alerting, partner alerting, notification enhancements, and alert lifecycle improvements.
- Translate customer, partner, field, and internal stakeholder needs into clear product strategy, business cases, PRDs, user stories, acceptance criteria, and prioritization recommendations.
- Partner with engineering, UX, data, agent, platform API, and architecture teams to deliver scalable alerting experiences that meet accessibility, localization, dark mode, role, subscription tier, demo, analytics, and release-readiness requirements.
- Lead alerting initiatives that support real-time detection, configurable thresholds, monitoring scope, notification channels, escalation behavior, alert acknowledgement, alert resolution, alert history, and improved active alert workflows.
- Own cross-functional alignment for ServiceNow, workflow automation, public API, partner experience, Managed Services, Active Care, Print, and other integrations that depend on WXP alerting capabilities.
- Manage complex dependencies across global product and engineering teams, balancing near-term customer commitments with long-term platform scalability and extensibility.
Requirements
- Bachelor's or Master's degree in Business, Engineering, Computer Science, Human-Computer Interaction, or equivalent experience.
- Strong understanding of enterprise IT administrator workflows, incident management, notification strategies, remediation workflows, and partner or managed services operating models.
Compensation
- The pay range for this role is $147,050 to $230,850 USD annually with additional opportunities for pay in the form of bonus and/or equity (applies to United States of America candidates only).
