About the role

  • They focus more on technology (PLCs, Robots, Welding, etc.) and are responsible in general of secondary equipment (welding, clipping, wrapping, etc.).

Requirements

  • Participate in Gemba walks, audits, and continuous improvement events Bachelor's degree in manufacturing engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Industrial Engineering, or a related field.
  • Experience in a manufacturing environment, preferably automotive or industrial manufacturing.
  • Knowledge of Lean Manufacturing, Six Sigma, 5S, Kanban, and continuous improvement methodologies.
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office applications and ERP/MRP systems.
  • Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced manufacturing environment.

Nice to have

  • Minimum of 3-5 years of manufacturing engineering experience is preferred.
  • Experience with CAD software and manufacturing process design preferred.

Skills

  • Maximizes efficiency by analyzing layout of equipment, workflow, assembly methods, and work force utilization.
  • Determines parts and tools needed to achieve manufacturing goals according to product specification.
