About the role

  • Position Production Planner (Industrial Solutions) Location Hendersonville, NC This position will be based at the BorgWarner Arden facility in Western North Carolina and will transition to a new facility in Hendersonville, NC.
  • We're now expanding into the high-growth data center market, providing advanced power generation systems for AI-driven data centers and microgrid applications.

Responsibilities

  • Develop, maintain, and execute production schedules aligned with customer demand, capacity, and material availability
  • Manage and adjust production plans based on demand changes, material constraints, and operational priorities to ensure on-time production and delivery
  • Analyze capacity utilization and collaborate with cross-functional teams to balance workload and optimize production flow
  • Maintain accuracy of planning data within ERP/MRP systems, resolving exceptions and improving data integrity
  • Develop and analyze reports on production performance, schedule adherence, and planning accuracy, driving continuous improvement of operational KPIs

Requirements

  • This position requires an associate degree or equivalent work experience
  • Must be familiar with standard concepts, practices, and procedures regarding planning and scheduling
  • A certain degree of creativity, experience and judgment is required to plan and accomplish goals
  • Must have working knowledge and MS Office applications (Outlook, Excel, Word, Power Point)
  • Must have working knowledge of MR/ERP systems and planning tools
  • Effective listening skills are required
  • Must be able to follow instructions, safety rules and regulations
  • this includes use of personal protective equipment (PPE) as required.

Nice to have

  • Experience in a manufacturing environment preferred
  • SAP experience strongly preferred

Compensation

  • $80,800 - $111,100
  • Competitive annual incentive program tied to business results
