About the role

Data Engineer will play a critical role in enhancing and maintaining a data platform for execution and operations research within the trading department.
Data Engineer will work across vendors and internal teams to ensure seamless, scalable data flows are built in an accessible way throughout the trading ecosystem.

Design, build, and maintain scalable data pipelines to ingest data from numerous sources.
Collaborate with team to develop processes to transform raw data into more usable data sets.
Implement robust data quality checks and enhance monitoring for data pipelines.
Partner with Quantitative Trading Strategists to improve current platform capabilities and performance.

The candidate will be working as a part of a team of Quantitative Trading Strategists to store new data sets, ensure reliability of data pipelines, build out additional capabilities across multiple asset classes.

Minimum of three to five years of experience in a data intensive field.
Experience with Python, KDB/Q or other programming languages with a focus on interfacing with high volume data.

$ 95,500 - $ 137,500 This position is eligible for competitive incentive bonus.

For that reason, we're including the salary range for this position.
This range reflects our good-faith expectation for what we'll pay depending on the candidate's experience, training and education.
In addition to the salary, we also offer significant and competitive incentive compensation based on both individual and company performance.
MFS contributes an amount equal to 15% of your base salary to your retirement account that is separate from the company -sponsored 401(k)
