About the role

McKee Foods is seeking a Packaging Operator to join our Collegedale, TN manufacturing team.
The packaging Operator is responsible for operating and maintaining packaging machinery to ensure efficient production of McKee Foods products.
The operator will set up machines, monitor packaging processes, and troubleshoot any issues to ensure product quality and adherence to safety standards.

Requirements

Ability to frequently lift and move 50 lbs.
Ability to determine cause and effect
Ability to learn basic computer skills
Steel-toed slip resistant safety shoes required
Knowledge of and adherence to company food safety, product purity, company policy and departmental procedures

Nice to have

Knowledge of McKee Foods Corporation and OSHA safety regulations
General mechanical aptitude
Knowledge of OPM software systems or PC experience
Excellent organizational skills
Self-motivated with high initiative
Basic math skills
Adaptable to change and able to do multiple tasks
Ability to work effectively with others
