About the role
- This includes maintaining regulatory compliance with all applicable federal, state, and local regulations and company policies.
- will also include creation, implementation, and improvements to existing and necessary employee Environmental, Health and Safety policies and programs.

Responsibilities
- Ensure consistent EHS presence and representation at key operational meetings to support effective communication, proactive risk identification, and timely issue resolution.
- Establish, maintain, and continuously improve risk assessment, accident prevention, and incident management systems, including oversight of PPE assessments, LOTO verifications, JSAs, incident investigations, and Root Cause Analyses (RCAs).
- Lead or serve as a key advisor to the Safety Committee, providing guidance on projects, investigations, audits, and operational initiatives.
- Take a leadership role in managing complex or sensitive EHS situations, partnering with leaders across all departments to implement practical, risk-based preventive solutions.
- Support and close corrective actions resulting from internal, corporate, and external audits, ensuring timely resolution and sustained compliance.
- Maintain centralized records for risk assessments, incident and near-miss reporting, corrective actions, and employee exposure monitoring in compliance with regulatory and corporate requirements.
Skills
- Bachelor's degree in Environmental Safety, Environmental Science, Occupational Safety and Health, or related field required.
- Process Safety Management ("PSM") experience preferred.
- M ust understand and recognize chemicals and risks of chemicals, PPE, and SDS.
- Extensive knowledge of environmental regulations and policies.
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail.
- Proficient in technology and equipment used in environmental inspections.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite or similar software.
- Wear personal protective equipment as needed.
- Pass respirator fit test as required by OSHA.
- Must be able to hear/see and respond to all communications and alarms.
Compensation
